Tuba Summer--the summertime version of Akron's popular TubaChristmas--returns to downtown Akron's Cascade Plaza Sunday, June 10 at 7 p.m. Free and open to the public, Tuba Summer is conducted by Tucker Jolly and features summer favorites performed by tuba, sousaphone, baritone and euphonium musicians from throughout the region.

Audience members who arrive early can enjoy the sounds of a small ensemble from The University of Akron Steel Drum Band during the pre-concert festivities at 6:15 p.m.

The concert, now in its seventh year, is co-sponsored by Downtown Akron Partnership and The University of Akron School of Music. For more information about the concert, please call 330-762-9550.
