Downtown Security

Downtown is one of the safest neighborhoods in the city. Downtown Akron Partnership is interested in the security of everyone who works, lives or visits downtown for business or pleasure.

Block Watch meetings are held periodically to keep downtown stakeholders apprised of developments related to security. The next Block Watch Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 4, 8:30 a.m. at the main library downtown.
