Author & historian Tim Carroll takes you through the history of World War II with rare photos, cartoons, and newspaper clippings. The author will be signing copies of his World War II books for $25 before and after the show. Tim Carroll is the author of World War II Cartoons of Akron’s Web Brown, which tells the history of World War II through cartoonist Web Brown’s artwork from 1934-1945. Web Brown was the best cartoonist in the country during the World War II era. Carroll also authored World War II Akron which tells the history of World War II through the lens of the city of Akron. By reading World War II Akron, readers can gain perspective on what it was like for every American city during World War II.
