Join the Akron Postcard Club for a spooky evening of horrifying preservation problems!

Special guest Rhonda Rinehart – the Manager of Special Collections at the Cummings Center – will guide us through all of the awful things that destroy postcards with explanations of why they’re a problem and how you can protect your own collections. Come prepared for terrifying scenes of water damage, creepy crawlies, and the destructive powers of the metal paperclip! To get us all in the spirit of the season, Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged - and we'll have a prize for the best costume!

Feel free to bring in your own preservation problems for a spooky show-and-tell!
