The Akronite celebrates Black businesses all year long, but for Black History Month, the city is sweetening the deal with an additional 10% in Blimps whenever you shop at one of Akron’s Black businesses. During the month of February take the time to explore the many Black owned businesses in Akron. From honey (Akron Honey) and high teas (Ohio Tea Lady) to massage (Let's Heal Massage Therapy) and fine arts (Totally Tangled Creations: By April Nicholson-Couch, to name just one), you won't be disappointed. And, there are many more than the ones I've tagged above.
