Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Knight Stage at the Akron Civic Theatre on Saturday, September 7, 2024, as the Rubber City Jazz & Blues Festival proudly closes out with Aneesa Strings, and support from Dan Wilson.
Aneesa Strings, the extraordinary bassist, vocalist, and composer from Oakland, California, will mesmerize you with her soulful melodies and intricate compositions. With a career that started at just 13 years old, Aneesa has been enchanting audiences worldwide. Her latest album "WAYS" has been critically acclaimed, and now, she’s bringing her magic to Akron.
Opening the night is Akron's very own Dan Wilson. From his roots in the church community to sharing stages with jazz legends, Dan’s guitar mastery is a testament to his diverse musical influences and unparalleled talent.
