Join us in celebrating the artists of Community Support Services!
Art of Recovery showcases original artwork created by CSS clients, many of whom participate in CSS’s art therapy program and who are living with severe and persistent mental illness. Art of Recovery celebrates clients’ creativity and the impact of creative expression in the mental health recovery process, while also fighting the stigma of mental illness.
Please join us for Art of Recovery at 5:30 p.m. March 14 at Akron Art Museum!
All artwork on display will be up for auction. Attendees will have the chance to mingle with the artists, view the museum galleries from 5:30-6:30 p.m. & enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar & music provided by 91.3 FM The Summit.
75% of art sale proceeds will go to the artists and 25% will be reinvested into CSS’s Expressive Art Therapy program!
The auction will end at 7:15 p.m. March 14.
