Join us for presentations from the courts and one-on-one consultations on civil legal matters. Registration is required for one-on-one consultations; no registration is required for the presentations.

This program is a partnership between Akron-Summit County Public Library, Akron Bar AssociationAkron Municipal CourtCommunity Legal AidSummit County Court of Common PleasSummit County Domestic Relations CourtSummit County Juvenile CourtSummit County Probate Court, and Summit Legal Defenders.

Presentations, open to the general public without reservation in Meeting Room 2AB, will be held on the following topics & times:

  • 5:00 pm — Akron Municipal Court
  • 5:30 pm — Summit Legal Defenders
  • 6:00 pm — Summit County Domestic Relations Court
  • 6:30 pm — Summit County Juvenile Court
  • 7:00 pm — Summit County Court of Common Pleas
  • 7:30 pm — Summit County Probate Court

One-on-one thirty-minute sessions, available through registration, will be offered with volunteer licensed attorneys on civil legal matters, including debt, housing issues, family law, wills, powers of attorney, record sealing, and more. Space is limited and registration is required for the one-on-one consultations.
