Speaker Kemp A. Boyd on on the life, legacy and hope of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

He is a diligent networker and connector, who has forged relationships across the city of Akron over the years, from churches and nonprofits to profit organizations alike. Kemp’s mission is to cultivate those around him to reach their full potential, including the City of Akron, where he serves as Executive Director of Love Akron, a Christian-based nonprofit organization, an intersectional hub working to unify the Colors, Cultures and Congregations to see Greater Akron Thrive. He is also serves as Co-Pastor at Garden City Church in Akron. Kemp is the head football coach at Kenmore-Garfield High School and his passion is to see these young men grow into maturity through the platform of football. These young men have become an extension of Kemp’s family as he seeks to cultivate that kind of atmosphere within the team and the city. Presented by the Office of Inclusion & Equity.
