Details
Black Dog Octet features 5 saxophonists and a piano trio. This performance group specializes in a wide variety of musical styles and influences. The musicians come from various parts of NE Ohio and include Brad Wagner and Chris Coles on Alto and Soprano Saxophone, Tony Spicer and Tim McDonald on Tenor saxophone and Dick Ingersoll on Baritone Saxophone. The powerhouse rhythm section of Theron Brown on Keyboards, Aidan Plank on Bass and Dustin May on drums propels the Octet through a wide range of repertoire by Wagner, Coles, Bill Dobbins and Jim McNeely.
