The Greater Akron Chamber (GAC) is facilitating a series of dialogs with multiple mayoral candidates to learn about their respective visions for the City of Akron and future role in our region's economic development ecosystem. As a core partner of the Elevate Greater Akron initiative, the GAC is deeply interested in understanding how each candidate would collaborate on key initiatives and work with the business community on addressing key issues. Each candidate will have an opportunity to address attendees, participate in Q&A and otherwise converse with Akron's business leaders on important issues.

Join us Thursday, April 6 for one or both of the back-to-back Roundtable Discussions as part of the Countdown to 2023 Event Series.

The Greater Akron Chamber is hosting a roundtable discussion with Shammas Malik on Thursday, April 6 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Greater Akron Chamber’s offices (388 S. Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44311). During this unique discussion, attendees will get to know Shammas Malik and the issues he is most focused on. After Mr. Malik's opening remarks, we will hold a Q&A session and open dialog on key issues facing the region.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. for refreshments and networking.

Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44311). During this unique discussion, attendees will get to know Tara Mosley and the issues she is most focused on. After Ms. Mosley's opening remarks, we will hold a Q&A session and open dialog on key issues facing the region.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
