Akron native Rodney Harris, Sr., will come home for a national book launch of Echoes from the Past: An AI Conversation with Deceased Civil Rights Leaders and Black Icons on the State of the Black Community.

The work features the perspectives of individuals such as Harriet Tubman, Abraham Lincoln, Malcom X, Fred Hampton, Tupac Shakur and Zora Beale Hurston. The use of artificial intelligence brings the past to the present.

Guests will be welcomed to the John Brown House at 11:00 a.m. where Rodney will sign books. He will then give a talk under the tent at 11:50 a.m. followed by more time for signing books. You may purchase a copy of the book at the event.

This program is free and open to the public.
