Akron Soul Train resident artist Keith Lemley has produced a new body of work with felled ash trees from the plight of the emerald ash borer that will be on view in the Burton D. Morgan exhibition space in downtown Akron from February 23- April 2.

Mike Johnson, Chief of Conservation for the Summit Metro Parks, will join us for a discussion on the problem of invasive species, specifically the emerald ash borer, and the conservation strategies being employed to address these issues. Throughout, he will draw comparisons between the arts and conservation and speak about the unapologetic intrinsic value of both.
