Join Akron Soul Train for the opening of two new exhibitions! In our main gallery is August resident artist, Sylvia Sykes, with her exhibition, "The Book of Akron 3:30," which reframes Biblical stories and presents them through a contemporary lens, using Akron as a backdrop. In the CapSOUL gallery, Akron Soul Train invites you to Footprints, an exhibition and fundraiser. Enjoy art prints that can be purchased to support the mission of Akron Soul Train: to provide local artists with funds, resources, and visibility in the Akron community. All printed artworks are 12” x 12”. This event showcases several styles of print including silkscreen, lithography, etching, photography, and more.
Light food and refreshments will be served during the opening reception as well as music from DJ Benny Lava
