The documentary Black Men in White Coats will be shown, followed by a discussion led by UA and Summa Health leaders. The focus will be disparities in medical professions leading to systemic health problems in minority populations. This event is sponsored by Summa Health.
This event is part of The University of Akron’s Rethinking Race event series, a two-week forum of events focused on facilitating “courageous conversations designed to promote inclusive excellence” regarding race and race-related issues.
