For advanced level dancers ages 14 and up. Facilitated by Gibney Company Director of Engagement Amy Miller. Class will take place in studio 194 in Guzzetta Hall.

Gibney Company’s Contemporary Dance classes invite participants to move their bodies and move ideas. Physical rigor, complex coordination and delicate nuance are prioritized in equal measure. The class will be built upon an underlying value system that prioritizes cultivating an available body and curious spirit while celebrating the collective wisdom of the group. Participants will focus on 'flexing the muscles' of choice-making and embracing the unknown; concepts we practice every day in the dance studio that have the potential to influence all aspects of our lives.
