In "Clowning Around," artist Kayla Weinman crafts unique pieces inspired by various elements of clown attire. Utilizing techniques such as coils, slabs, hyper-smoothing, carving, and stitchwork, Kayla brings to life the whimsical and intricate details of clown costumes in her ceramic works.
Join us for an engaging tour of the exhibition led by Kayla herself, where she will share insights into her creative process and the inspiration behind her pieces. After the tour, Kayla will demonstrate her distinctive ceramic stitching technique, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship that defines her work.
