From 1933 to 1983, Sexology magazine brought news and information about sexuality and sex research to the American public. Dr. Kara Kvaran of The University of Akron Women’s Studies Program will explore the magazine’s coverage of unwed mothers and their children within the broader context of American attitudes about single motherhood and premarital sex.
