Dave Szalay (he/him) is an award winning illustrator/designer with a career spanning over three decades. Dave earned an MFA in illustration from the University of Hartford, an MA in Communications, and BFA in Graphic Design from The University of Akron. He teaches illustration, visual storytelling, and design as a tenured university professor. Past clients include notable global corporations, institutions, healthcare providers, museums, technology companies, and many others.
Dave lives with his wife, Krista, and their cats in the Village of Richfield near the scenic Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
