Main Event Many Voices series returns with new captivating authors sharing their stories and most recent work. This month's speaker Amanda Flower joins us to discuss "I Heard a Fly Buzz When I Died."

Local Author and former Akron-Summit County Public Library Employee Amanda Flower is a USA Today bestselling and Agatha Award-winning author of over forty-five mystery novels. Her novels have received starred reviews from Library Journal, Publishers Weekly, and Romantic Times, and she had been featured in USA Today, First for Women, and Woman’s World. Her first Emily Dickinson Mystery, "Because I Could Not Stop for Death," was a Agatha Award winner and Mary Higgins Clark Nominee. She currently writes for Penguin-Random House (Berkley), Kensington, and Sourcebooks. A former librarian, Flower and her husband own a farm and recording studio, and they live in Northeast Ohio with their eight adorable cats, Editors Cheeps and Tummy and Studio Cats Cheddar, Michelangelo, Dr. Z, Fender, Marmalade, and Colby Jack.

Amanda Flower joins us for a fun evening to share her latest novel, "I Heard a Fly Buzz When I Died," the second installment of her historical Emily Dickinson Mystery Series.
