Did you know that Main Library’s makerspace offers access to a vinyl printer for a nominal fee? This two-class series will teach Canva, a free online graphic design platform. Registration required.

In the first class, you will learn to use Canva, a free online graphic design platform, used to create posters, presentations, and other visual content. The site includes many templates and stock images available for use. Participants will also learn the required format to download and save the project to print a banner at TechZone@Main on the Vinyl Printer. For more detailed information about cost to print banners, please click on this link https://www.akronlibrary.org/locations/main-library/techzone-main.

Dates, times, topics:

Class 1: Learn about Canva and how to create posters, banners, or presentations (as an alternative to Microsoft PowerPoint) | Tuesday, April 5 | 6 pm |

Class 2: Participants will use skills learned in the first class to create their own designs and see their poster-sized design printed on the vinyl printer for free | Tuesday, April 12 | 6 pm |
