Join Akron resident Anthony Serpette - a paper folder for over 30 years - as he teaches guests of all ages how to fold some classic origami designs.

This program meets in the Lock 3 shuffleboard area, near the LockStop Café.

FREE | Space is limited & registration is required.

There are three 30-minute sessions from which to choose: 4:45 - 5:15 pm, 5:30 - 6:00 pm, and 6:15 - 6:45 pm.

Participants will learn how to create 2 different origami forms. All supplies will be provided.

The word Origami means "folding" and "paper" and while it looks like magic, this art form turns simple pieces of paper into beautiful flowers, butterflies, hopping frogs, and birds with flapping wings. There will also be free giveaways for attendees.

Other origami opportunities are available at tables outside at Lock 3 and inside the Mustill Store—no registration is required for them.
