Poetry Is Life Publishing, The Akron Civic Theatre, and the Arts Incubator presents Polaroids & Poetry. A creative, interactive workshop that brings the nostalgia of the Polaroid camera and film with a modern update, together with the power of the written word in poetic form.
This workshop will give participants (set in groups) an opportunity to use a modern Polaroid camera to take a picture of anything they want to in the downtown (Lock 4, Cascade Plaza) area, then go back to Wild Oscars to write a poem about the picture. Then discussion will follow about the process.
