We invite you to join your artist Cory of Grass Root Designs at Missing Falls Brewery in Akron on July 17th for a new plant themed workshop!
During this event, your artist Cory will start you off with your own glass vase complete with a cork top and a wooden coaster for a decorative display. (Measures 5" around).
These vases will become a blank canvas for you to arrange real pressed flowers however you'd like. There will be several types of flowers, leaves, and ferns to choose from.
After arranging and adhering the flowers to the vase, Cory will talk about plant propagation so that you can start your own plants in this vase for years to come. Cory will also have a couple "mother" plants to demonstrate the proper place to cut your plants in order for them to successfully grow their new roots in the water. You will be able to take a plant cutting before you leave to put in your new vase.
Feel free to bring in your own cuttings for trading amongst the other attendees if you are a big plant enthusiast!
Your ticket includes all materials, instructions, and your first beer!
Food and beverage menus will be available during this event. We encourage everyone to try a beverage or a food item while crafting!
