The Akron Urban League is pleased to present its annual celebration of the life and legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 17th, 2022.

During this virtual event, you will hear speakers and performers discuss and share lessons from influential leaders of the past and discover how their words continue to speak to us now. Dr. King inspired us to believe in personal, social, and global change and the power of his dream for racial equality, diversity, and love. Perhaps most important, Dr. King taught us that everyone can make a difference, and every day is a chance to be a voice for justice, diversity, equality and inclusion.

The event is FREE and the first 100 registrants have the option to purchase an Akron Urban League Breakfast Box with breakfast items and an exclusive Akron Urban League Travel Mug for you to enjoy during the program. We will deliver to you (within 20 miles of AUL) or pick up is available Friday, January 14th from 9am-2pm or Saturday, January 15th from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
