NYC- based, award-winning trombonist and composer Sam Blakeslee returns to Blu Jazz this October 20-21 for a special weekend of shows with his jazz orchestra, the Sam Blakeslee Large Group. The ensemble will feature the finest musicians that Northeast Ohio has to offer with both the newest up and coming talent, seasoned veterans, as well as University of Akron Jazz Studies Students Jennifer James and Ephraim Miller all sharing the stage for two nights in a row!
