FRONT takes over the Bud and Susie Roger Garden for an evening of dance! Join Akron and Cleveland-area dancers and instructors for line dancing and a flash mob. Spins from a local DJ and refreshments will set the vibe. All ages and experiences are welcome.

The event is called 'FRONT of the Line " Dance party. The purpose/goal of this event is the raise awareness of the upcoming FRONT triennial dance floor installation by Dansbana!, and to engage the community in the art of dance. The event will feature performances by local dance groups and schools, Line Dancing, a food truck, and info about the FRONT Triennial.
Dansbana! will culminate in an open-access, public dance floor in downtown Akron. “Highlighting the value of dance as a tool of personal and collective transformation, the installation will feature a custom architectural dance floor and sculptural Bluetooth speakers that can support live performances and everyday engagement.”
