Halloween Haunted Houses!!
October 2, 2 pm: The Legend of Hell House (1973)

Roddy McDowell and Pamela Franklin star as part of a paranormal investigation team that sets out to explore what spirits caused a number of deaths in the house. With a screenplay by Richard Matheson (I Am Legend). Rated PG, 95 min.

October 9: No Screening

October 16, 2 pm: The Uninvited (1944)

Ray Milland and Ruth Hussey star as siblings who buy a seaside house, only to find it haunted. They befriend the previous owners' daughter (Gail Russell) and come to learn the reasons for the ghostly presence. 99 min.

October 23, 2 pm: The Haunting (1963)

Based on Shirley Jackson's "The Haunting of Hill House," this classic version directed by Robert Wise stars Julie Harris, Claire Bloom, and Russ Tamblyn as paranormal experts brought in to investigate a haunted house. A first-rate psychological thriller! 112 min.

October 30, 2 pm: The Innocents (1961)

Deborah Kerr stars as a governess brought on by Michael Redgrave to watch over his orphaned niece and nephew (Pamela Franklin and Martin Stephens). Based on Henry James' "Turn of the Screw" and directed by Jack Clayton. 100 min.
