Experience the sounds of “Trap Jazz” by Sunny Tabler and the Trapper Keepers at our 9th annual Rubber City Jazz and Blues Festival! They'll take the stage at 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 7th at the Cascade Locks Park Association Stage at Lock 15, 21 W North St, Akron, OH 44304.
Sunceray 'Sunny' Tabler, a drummer and proud Cleveland native, began her musical journey at a young age. In her early years, Sunny had the privilege of studying with renowned Cleveland artists Bob McKee and Jamey Haddad. She further refined her craft at the Tri-C Jazz studies program and performed as a member of the Tri-C Jazz All Stars. Sunny continued her musical education at Oberlin College & Conservatory of Music under the mentorship of Billy Hart and Paul Samuels. Her love for music is evident in her distinct playing style and synergy with other artists during performances.
