The Hologram is an experiment in collective, peer-to-peer health care. The project was inspired by Social Solidarity Clinics established in Greece during the height of the financial and migration crisis. These clinics saw health professionals band together with communities not only to offer free care, but to reimagine what care could look like.
The Cummings Center will host a virtual Hologram Workshop on September 10, 2022 from 12pm-3pm. The workshop will give participants the chance to practice collective health care in their own peer-to-peer support network. The workshop will be facilitated by artist and activist Cassie Thornton.
