Movies on the big screen every Thursday at 6:30 pm. Relax and enjoy classics or recent blockbusters in Main Library’s auditorium. No registration is required. Free parking on weekdays after 6 pm.

January 5, 6:30 pm: Kid Glove Killer (1942) Blacklisted actress Marsha Hunt was 104 when she passed away last September. She co-stars with Van Heflin as a chemist in a forensic crime lab investigating a murder, 74 min.

January 12, 6:30 pm: Pressure Point (1962) Prison psychiatrist Sidney Poitier is tasked with counseling bigoted Nazi Bobby Darin. Directed by Stanley Kramer and Hubert Cornfield, with Peter Falk, 91 min.

January 19, 6:30 pm: A Reflection of Fear (1972) An isolated young girl (Sondra Locke) finds her life disrupted when her estranged father (Robert Shaw) shows up with a new bride-to-be (Sally Kellerman). And then things get really weird, PG, 89 min.

January 26, 6:30 pm: Brian's Song (1971) The classic TV movie about the real-life relationship between Chicago Bears teammates Brian Piccolo (James Caan) and Gale Sayers (Billy Dee Williams) and how they deal with Piccolo's terminal illness diagnosis. Also starring Jack Warden, Bernie Casey, and Shelley Fabares, 73 min.
