The first reed quintet on the Billboard Charts, Akropolis Reed Quintet has “taken the chamber music world by storm” (Fanfare), winning seven national chamber music prizes, including the 2014 Fischoff Gold Medal. Experimenters at their core, Akropolis has collaborated with poets, a metal fabricator, dancers, and more. In Akron they will perform a mix of new and familiar works.
