Vignettes–a three-part, site-specific installation inside one of the units of Outside of the Box.
Each part of the exhibition features a unique, site-specific installation, culminating in a closing reception on Thursday, June 13.
Viewers are welcome to create a unique artwork to be featured in the installation (materials provided).
From the artist herself, “I want the viewers to feel they are entering into a brief episode of a larger play and be engulfed in the created environment”.
The title Vignettes of this three-part site-specific installation is inspired by brief, descriptive episodes captured in arch-shaped paintings made in taffeta. The space inside the unit will be altered and activated to impart a particular experience for the visitors.
