At 6:00 p.m., “The Polar Express,” a classic, inspiring adventure based on the beloved children's book by Chris Van Allsburg, takes the screen. When a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe. “The Polar Express” will be shown free of charge on the big screen at the Akron Civic Theatre on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, presented exclusively by Wayside Furniture. Patrons will also enjoy free popcorn.
