Clayton Bailey is back, this time with newly reconfigured galleries and additions to the humorous World of Wonders Museum!

Join us for opening weekend to experience Funk Art pioneer Clayton Bailey’s family of robots and mythical creatures. Come in and explore the curiosities of this collection, and if you’ve visited before, try to spot the new characters on view!

In addition to our Thursday and Friday evening hours, the museum is now open from 12-4pm on Saturdays. This gives families time to visit us during the day, while also checking out other museums on the block, as well as other cultural institutions like Akron Soul Train, the Akron Children’s Museum, the new Akron History Center, and the Akron Civic Theatre. With all this in walking distance of the World of Wonders and the recently opened Lock 3 park, visitors can now enjoy a full day exploring downtown Akron's cultural attractions.

The celebration will be going on ALL WEEKEND, starting May 1st, from 4-8pm through Saturday, May 3rd from 12-4pm, with a light reception and snacks during our Open House on Saturday. Stop by and say hello as we kick off the 2025 season!

$5 donations are suggested to properly feed our Money Bot.
