6th Annual Summit Brew Path Launches April 7, 2022

March 31, 2022- Akron, OH: The 6th annual Summit Brew Path launches on Thursday, April 7, 2022 – National Beer Day. Featuring 23 official stops, the Summit Brew Path is presented by the Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau (ASCVB) in partnership with the breweries.

“As we continue to do our part in reactivating Greater Akron’s hospitality industry, the Summit Brew Path is a wildly-popular means to that end,” states Jim Mahon, Vice President of Marketing & Brand Management for the ASCVB. “The Path provides local and regional residents the opportunity to enjoy our local craft beer scene, while also exploring our communities’ metropolitan and outdoor assets,” Mahon adds.

The 2022 official stops, include: Akronym Brewing, The Brew Kettle, Brighten Brewing (new for 2022), Canton Brewing Company, Eighty-Three Brewery, Headtrip Brewery, HiHO Brewing Co., Hop Tree Brewing, Hoppin’ Frog Brewery, Ignite Brewing Co., Lock 15 Brewing Co., Magic City Brewing Company, McArthur’s Brew House, Missing Falls Brewery, Missing Mountain Brewing Co., Ohio Brewing Company, Royal Docks Brewing Co., R. Shea Brewing (Downtown Akron & Merriman Valley), Thirsty Dog (Taphouse and Sour Haus), Two Monks Brewing Co., and Wadsworth Brewing Company.

Summit Brew Path participants can choose to visit 19 or 23 official stops which will qualify them for a chance to win the Tier 1 $250 grand prize or the Tier 2 $1,000 grand prize; each individual who completes either tier will also receive an invitation to the Summit Brew Path Bash planned for Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the John S. Knight Center from 3pm to 6pm. The Path must be completed on/before November 30, 2022; the official entry form must be postmarked no later than December 9, 2022.
