Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau Launches Sixth Annual Drip Drive
AKRON, OH (Feb. 26, 2025) – The Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau (ASCVB) is excited to announce the sixth annual Drip Drive is launching on March 1, 2025. This year’s Drip Drive boasts the highest number of participating coffee shops to date, with 28 locations throughout Summit County. The initiative provides an opportunity to promote and support our local coffee shops.
To start The Drip Drive, head over to any of the participating locations and pick up a free passport. While there, simply make a purchase to earn a stamp. Continue the fun by stopping at each of the coffee shops along the drive, making purchases and collecting stamps. The minimum number of stamps needed for completion of the passport is 20. Upon completion, submit your passport at either the ASCVB offices or the Akron Art Museum to receive a limited-edition coffee mug, along with an entry into the grand prize raffle.
The Drip Drive 2025 Grand Prize Package:
- A gift package valued at $500 filled with swag, coffee, gift cards, merch and more! All from coffee shops on The Drip Drive.

Last year, The Drip Drive saw over 500 completions submitted. New and exciting for this year is a digital version of the passport. To access the digital passport, visit thedripdrive.com. Digital users will need to create an account and then add the Drip Drive to their collection of passports to begin.
