Mayor Dan Horrigan will deliver his 2019 State of the City Address at the John S. Knight Center on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, during a luncheon hosted by the Akron Roundtable.

Mayor Horrigan’s address will highlight the accomplishments of the past year and focus on his vision and planned initiatives for 2019 and beyond.  Mayor Horrigan is the 62nd mayor of Akron and has built the foundation of his leadership around his commitment to improving the economic and civic wellbeing of Akron neighborhoods and implementing innovative, fiscally responsible and service-oriented policies that enhance the efficiency and transparency of city operations.

Mayor Horrigan is proud to announce that, for the third consecutive year, proceeds of the event will benefit the Russell M. Pry Memorial Scholarship at The University of Akron School of Law, in honor of Mayor Horrigan’s friend and mentor, the late Summit County Executive Russ Pry.

Ticket sales to the general public begin January 16. For those not able to attend, the event will be live streamed through the Mayor’s Facebook page and, upon completion, will be uploaded to the Mayor’s YouTube Channel.
