State and Federal Communications, Inc. Releases 2023 CSR Annual Report 30th Anniversary Special Edition

Akron, OH (May 14, 2024) - State and Federal Communications, Inc. released its 2023 Corporate Social Responsibility Annual Report, illustrating the reach of the company’s community impact and reflecting on its 30th anniversary.

In 2023, the company made contributions to many local organizations and causes, including United Way of Summit & Medina, the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, Girl Scouts of North East Ohio, and more.

Highlights from the 2023 CSR Annual Report 30th Anniversary Special Edition include:

  • $113,014 donated to the United Way of Summit and Medina during State and Federal Communications, Inc.’s 24th annual United Way Campaign;
  • 75 dozen donuts and 21 gallons of cider sold during its 13th Annual Donut and Cider Sale with all sales benefitting United Way of Summit and Medina;
  • $7,050 raised for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank’s Harvest for Hunger Campaign, providing the equivalent of 28,200 meals for families in need;
  • 1,032 boxes of Girl Scout cookies purchased by President and CEO Elizabeth Bartz, which were donated to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Good Samaritans program;
  • A total of 7,422 pounds of materials recycled, including 1,141 pounds of e-waste, 6,233 pounds of paper, and 48 pounds of fluorescent bulbs processed; and
  • 2,400 pull tabs donated to the Ronald McDonald House.

“We have a legacy of caring for our community and supporting it in real ways through corporate philanthropy and community engagement. We continue to build upon our efforts in the areas of sustainability and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion,” said President and CEO Elizabeth Bartz.

State and Federal Communications, Inc. also highlighted the company’s 30th anniversary in the CSR Annual Report. The milestone anniversary was recognized in a 30th anniversary video series by 34 local, national, and government officials and organizations, including Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, President of the National Conference of State Legislatures and Rhode Island Speaker Pro-Tempore Brian Patrick Kennedy, Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro, and Akron Mayor Shammas Malik. The company also received three proclamations recognizing the company’s accomplishments from Ohio State Representative Bill Roemer, Ohio State Representative Emilia Strong Sykes, and Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose.
