Tequila ‘n Tigers is July 13

July 3, 2024, AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo is offering its popular adult event, Tequila ‘n Tigers, on Saturday, July 13 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Tickets are now available at akronzoo.org/tequila-n-tigers.

Guests can enjoy three tequila drink tastings, chips and salsa, two tiger training sessions, animal enrichment, music from DJ Kenny Kidd and admission to the zoo after hours. Additional drinks will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $38 for Akron Zoo members and $43 for non-members. Designated driver tickets, which include two non-alcoholic drink tickets and chips and salsa, are available for $25 for Akron Zoo members and $30 for non-members. VIP tickets are also available and include the added bonus of early entrance at 6 p.m., a full-drink ticket and a special treat. VIP tickets are $53 and VIP designated drivers are $25.

Tequila ‘n Tigers is 21 and older only, including designated drivers. Infants and children will not be admitted.

The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Peak season hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
