Women’s History Project “Woman of the Year Awards”
Akron, February 22, 2020 — The Summit County Historical Society is pleased to announce that Representative Emilia Strong Sykes, House Minority Leader, will be the guest speaker for the upcoming 2020 Suffrage Centennial event recognizing local women in the community.
The Woman of the Year Awards will be presented on March 4, 2020, at the historic Greystone Hall. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and the event will start at noon. Tickets are $40 per person with reservations required. The event is being presented by Summa Health.
