Uncover the vital role Akron’s Deaf community played in shaping the city’s legacy as the Rubber Capital of the World and the city's identity as the “Crossroads of the Deaf.”
Melissa Bradley Musser, a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) and Akron native, shares her family story, including her grandfather’s role during the Great Migration and the vibrant Deaf culture they built.
