In 1999, Jeff O’Neil purchased and restored the Masonic Temple as a mixed-use/special event/entertainment office building. Restoration costs are approximately $2 million. The city of Akron assisted by purchasing the Greystone and leasing it back to O’Neil in order to complete renovations.

With an imposing seven-story stone facade, Greystone Hall remains one of downtown Akron’s most majestic structures. Originally built by the Freemasons in 1917 for their business and social gatherings, the Hall now offers exceptionally appointed spaces for banquets, meetings and special events.
