Akron Children’s Museum Hosts Make Believe Midnight

Akron, OH. December 27, 2023 – Party hats, dazzling decorations, colorful confetti, and the suspense of the ball drop! Why should kids have to miss out on all the fun of New Year's Eve?  

Join us for a magical day of Make Believe Midnight mischief!  Taking place on Friday, December 29, 2023, this event offers two timed entry sessions: Morning Celebration (10 am - 12 pm) and Afternoon Extravaganza (1 pm - 3 pm).

Join our dance party and jam out to music the whole family will enjoy with entertainment provided by our very own “DJ New Year.”  Surprise characters will be stopping by while children fill up their passport as they visit and interact at multiple party stations. Stations will include party hats, wishing wands, confetti poppers and more! And then the moment everyone will be waiting for, join us as we ring in the new year with an exciting countdown and BIG BALL Drop at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm. On your way out, stop by the Lock 3 Commons for a Rootbeer Float and a Popcorn snack to-go, sponsored by ACME Fresh Market.  You won't want to miss this special event!

Pre-registration for this private event is required. Cost: $12 per child /$10 per adult, ACM members receive a $2 discount per ticket.   Purchase event tickets at https://www.akronkids.org.
