Akron, OH (January 3, 2024) – On January 3, 2024, State and Federal Communications, Inc., celebrated moving into a new office space in downtown Akron with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and press conference.

The company relocated its headquarters to 222 S. Main St., Suite 300 in downtown Akron from Courtyard Square at 80 S. Summit St. The move to bigger office space accommodates the company’s growing team as they continue to serve clients and the community.

“As a woman-owned business for 30 years, we are excited to be staying in Akron, a great All-American City,” said Elizabeth Bartz. “We believe this move will enable us to continue providing a high level of service to our clients while deepening our relationship and support of the downtown community.”

Elizabeth Bartz purchased what would become State and Federal Communications, Inc. in 1993 with only two employees and relocated from Washington, D.C., to Akron, Ohio. With more than 40 employees three decades later, the company now provides specialized compliance resources to more than 2,600 clients from Fortune 500 companies, law firms, government affairs firms, trade associations, and nonprofits across the country and internationally.

“We are excited to welcome State and Federal Communications to the downtown Akron neighborhood! With a 30-year track record of success, State and Federal choosing Main Street as its new location demonstrates a commitment to our community that will give confidence to other businesses looking to relocate to the downtown area,” said Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro.

Other distinguished guests at the ribbon-cutting included Akron Mayor Shammas Mailk, Steve Millard, President and CEO of the Greater Akron Chamber, and George Sarkis of Roetzel and Andress. A public open house for State and Federal Communications, Inc.’s new office space will be held on March 25.
